The integration agency, campaign office citizenship
(Integrationsagentur Aktionsbüro Einbürgerung im Paritätischen NRW (ABE))

The integration agency “Aktionsbüro Einbürgerung” (ABE; campaign office citizenship) within the Paritätischen NRW is a project of the Paritätischen Wohlfahrtsverband Landesverband NRW and as such a unique service in the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG).

“Aktionsbüro Einbürgerung”, in cooperation with other organisations and institutions, aims at encouraging the discussion about further facilitation of citizenship law and processing.

ABE was established as a project in 1996.
The range of on-line information and advice has steadily been expanded since 2001. Since 2006, ABE has been funded by the Ministry for Intergenerational Affairs, Family, Women and Integration (MGFFI) as a specific scheme within the aid to integration agencies.

The management of this project is based with IFAK e.V. in Bochum. The campaign office is being supported by a number of honorary members of staff and trainees who primarily attend and co-design several activities and events. Advice can be given in German, Turkish, Kurdish, Assyrian / Aramean, English and partly in Arabic. [more]
